Healing Laser Therapy Benefits!

Updated: Dec 28, 2021

Laser (Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation)

Healing properties of light has been used in science for decades. Now at the convience at your doctor's office, you can benefit from low level laser therapy (LLLT).

Research terms for Laser include LLLT, Photobiomodulation, photoneuromodulation, photobiomics.

How a laser works: by delivering photos (light energy) In the red and near Infared wavelengths of light are then absorbed by molecules in our cells. This energy turns into heat energy to enhance blood flow where the red blood cells carrying oxygen can more easily remove metabolic waste products. Allowing for more oxygen and nutrient delivery to cells yeilding in more cellular production of products. Light energy will increase the vibrational frequency of water molecules in our body. This extra energy allows the body to heal itself at an accelerated rate.

Clinical effects of Laser include but not limited to:

pain reduction due to vasodilation affecting pain receptors, lymphatic drainage reducing swelling, cellular regeneration, nitric oxide enhancement, deep tissue penetration enhancing joint health, mitochondrial DNA stimulation, collagen production,

Why Laser is different than other light:

Frequency of light on and off is specific to targeted cells of our body.

This communicates with specific cell types to deliver specific results. Analogy is think of area codes for specific Target cells.

Red light laser is beneficial due our body being very red internally such as red blood cells.
